Majestic Care’s Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for assisting in the organization and execution of nursing operations of the facility. Other duties may include, but not limited to:
- Reports to the Director of Nursing and Executive Director on a regular basis to provide information on management and clinical operation of the facility.
- Remains informed of federal, state and local regulations which are pertinent to the operation of residential health care facilities.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
- In coordination with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS), develop, communicate, and maintain nursing policies and procedures.
- Assist in establishing criteria and monitoring performance to assure that services provided meet established standards of quality care.
- Assist the Executive Director and DNS with overseeing and evaluating all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN etc.)
- Help coordinate nursing/nurse aide schedules and guide staffing procedures
- Help carry out objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
- Enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
