Job Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within our healthcare facility. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care, managing appointments, and providing administrative support to the office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a compassionate demeanor, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of service throughout their visit.

Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance information and collecting necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with staff to facilitate communication regarding patient needs and treatment plans.
  • Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and care instructions.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies as needed.
  • Assist in the development of office protocols to enhance operational efficiency within the practice.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential for effective communication with both patients and healthcare providers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using office software applications for scheduling and record management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.44 - $19.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:
