Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and high-quality service.
- Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize staff productivity while maintaining quality.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel or facility.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all cleaning practices adhere to health regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff and guests.
