Job Description
A Finisher in our shop is responsible for the final stages of metal fabrication, ensuring all products meet quality and aesthetic standards before shipment. Their key duties include :
Grinding, sanding, and polishing metal surfaces to achieve the required finish (brushed, mirror, or patina).
Deburring and smoothing sharp edges for a clean, safe final product.
Applying patina and passivation treatments to enhance durability and corrosion resistance.
Repairing and reworking parts to correct defects or damage before final approval.
Inspecting for defects such as scratches, weld marks, or inconsistencies in finish.
Working with welders and fabricators to ensure seamless blending of welded areas.
Applying protective coatings (if required), such as sealants or clear coats.
Maintaining tools and equipment like grinders, polishers, and buffers.
Following safety protocols to ensure proper handling of materials and tools.
