What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Tech position at Major Food Group LLC?
Major Food Group is hiring a Facilities Tech to join our growing Miami team!
Responsibilities Include:
Provide technical and facilities support to all aspects of the restaurants operations
- Performing repairs inside, and around the building, troubleshooting problems with kitchen and bar equipment, and all physical equipment in the restaurant including but not limited to: Ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens, etc.
- When needed, install and replace flooring, stairs, piping, wiring, doors, windows, ceiling tiles, etc.
- Maintain and repair heating/cooling systems when required
- Regularly paint/touch up furniture, floors, doors, walls, windows, etc.
- Conduct daily inspections of the facility to look out for issues and respond quickly when they arise
- Continuously check in with front of house and back of house staff to ensure all equipment is working properly and operations are running smoothly
- Source the necessary tools, parts and materials needed for all repairs and maintenance
