- Professional & Technical SkillsMinimum two years of experience in social work or counseling and broad background with diverse patient populations, preferably in a medical setting.
- EducationMaster's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling from accredited university.

JOB SUMMARYThe Staff Social Worker or Counselor is expected to maintain a rolling caseload to meet the needs of the patient population we serve. The typical schedule includes team coverage of MHP Behavioral Health daily walk-in hours, new patient appointments, follow up psychotherapy appointments, team meetings, case management/administrative task time, and possible supervision of students. The Social Worker or Counselor is encouraged to participate in community outreach. Part-time Telework would also be considered if desired.This role takes place primarily in the Obstetrics/ Gynecology Department, with supplemental support in the Pediatric Department. Preferred background and passion working with OB/GYN patients and the pediatric population.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
