What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Global Events (Seasonal) position at Major League Baseball?
Job Summary :
Seeking a Coordinator to manage and execute logistical, project and event operations support while exercising a high level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail and responsiveness.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate operations and logistics for MLB events (e.g., World Tour, All-Star Week, Winter Meetings, Little League Classic, Postseason, etc.), including event tracking, prospective event database, and post-event surveying
- Develop and coordinate the Event planning session meeting structure and schedule for major events
- Create and manage department event operations previews (Event 101, Know Before You Go, etc.) and recaps
- Oversee and manage process for department Drive (internal and external) and recording-keeping across the core areas of information sharing
- Create and edit event vision material into internal and external communications, including front-facing PowerPoint presentations and other correspondences.
- Research and offer other support on Events department projects across Operational verticals as needed
- Assist in coordination of shipping and receiving process for events
- Perform related duties as required
