POSITION TITLE: Network Analyst
POSITION REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure
POSITION SUMMARY: MLB Network seeks a Network Analyst to work specifically with the Company's IP network infrastructure, network management systems, wireless infrastructure and remote access systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide IP network expertise in the maintenance, management, and support of both broadcast and office networks.
- Work effectively with senior network engineers on the integration and schematic depiction of communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, signaling links and protocols into complete network
- Monitor network health, perform system tuning and make recommendations for
- Implement and manage daily user network requests, hardware installation, and user
- Assist in the evaluation of new products, perform network problem resolution and assist in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface
- Provide Tier-2 troubleshooting support working with the user support team and the operations staff to effectively manage and monitor all systems - including contributing to the preparation of technical design and planning documents and creating and maintaining as built documents and troubleshooting guides.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced IT In-depth knowledge of end user computers and the network connectivity to them.
- Must have experience with IP network connectivity and
- Must have experience with Cisco Network environments with up-to-date skills in Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco UCS, Layer 2 and Layer 3 TCP/IP Routing
- Must have experience with wireless networks and remote access.
- Knowledge of SAN and NAS storage solutions
- Must be detail oriented, meticulous and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to lead small teams, as necessary and possess good interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with team members and outside user
- Must have experience with Cisco ISE, AAA, RADIUS, TACACS and 802.1x
- Must have experience with common network services, SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, DHCP, AD, etc.
- Analyze network performance using various modern telemetry tools and provide root cause analysis, recommendations, guidance and expertise in maintaining the highest level of performance.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, bash, etc.) is preferred.
- Exposure to Data Center and virtualization technologies (UCS, VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN).
- Understanding of the broadcast networking landscape and requirements including 2110 standards.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in IT / Technical Communications, Broadcast IT or equivalent related experience is preferred.
WORK CLASSIFICATION: Standard: Employee permitted to work remotely generally 20% of the week, with the remote day to be determined by the employee and their manager and/or their department head.
