Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate service calls, manage technician schedules, and ensure timely, efficient service for our customers. As the central point of communication between customers and field staff, the Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations and delivering excellent customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Schedule technicians for maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Monitor and adjust daily schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and follow up post-service
- Prioritize service calls according to urgency, location, and technician availability
- Enter job details into the system accurately and in a timely manner
- Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with office staff to coordinate parts, follow-up appointments, and billing
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, customer interactions, and job outcomes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, GPS systems, and GIS technology is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail; ability to type accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
