THE TEAM
Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our Chapters around the country. The Chapter Advancement team provides and promotes a range of services for chapters and chapter leadership to advance the Make-A-Wish mission throughout the country. We are focused on a collaborative support system to ensure chapter and organizational health in delivering the mission to the communities we serve. We align our work with our four strategic pillars: Increase Our Revenue, Grant More Wishes, Inspire Our People and Enhance Our Capabilities. The team partners with chapter leadership and Board of Directors to strengthen performance, leadership, and organizational development, and to ensure adherence to national policies and performance standards to protect our brand and mission.
THE ROLE
The Coordinator, Donor Care is responsible for entering constituent and donor data into CRM in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy. Provides exceptional customer service to donors, general public, and chapters.
WHERE YOU COME IN
As the Coordinator, Donor Care you will:
- Completes and stays up to date with the latest training and best practices.
- Performs data entry of donor information, donations, and gift batches, into enterprise CRM ensuring accuracy of donor information and gift coding.
- Imports large volumes of gift, donor, and fundraising information with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Enters requisite donor data; relationship, gift reference, contact, and solicitation information. Performs clean-up of donor and gift data as needed.
- Ensure returned mail and matching gift request forms are processed appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Completes helpdesk tasks in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the highest level of customer service for donors, chapters and the general public.
- Assist in creating, updating, and implementing new Standards of Use (SOUs) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); update Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) as needed.
- Performs other related job duties, as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Must be located in Phoenix, AZ
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, liberal arts or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service, data entry and/or non-profit environment.
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Office applications required. Database data entry & reporting preferred.
- Strong computer skills required, specifically in Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce desired.
