Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our dental clinic environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical systems, and sterilization processes to maintain high standards of hygiene and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment following established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment areas for pediatric patients.
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed during patient interactions.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in sterilization and infection control.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and systems related to sterilization processes.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols for cleanliness and safety.
