Makena is seeking a Tennis & Pickleball Attendant to join the Racquet Sports Department.
The Tennis & Pickleball Attendant will help maintain the court areas to ensure optimal cleanliness and maintained appearance. The Attendant will assist members and their guests while in the court and facilities areas, and clean equipment as necessary. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

The Tennis & Pickleball Attendant will help maintain the court areas to ensure optimal cleanliness and maintained appearance. The Attendant will assist members and their guests while in the court and facilities areas, and clean equipment as necessary. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all amenities are in order and ready to be presented to our members and their guests.
- Prepare and maintain amenity stations throughout the day.
- Complete all opening and closing procedures and daily/weekly side work.
- Clean and maintain all pickleball, tennis and padel equipment.
- Always maintain court and lounge area cleanliness during hours of operations
- Keep amenity stations and lounge areas clear of clutter during hours of operation.
- Assist co-workers with disposal and re-stocking inventory.
- Immediately communicate Safety and Maintenance concerns to your immediate supervisor and request a follow up is conducted.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional degrees and certifications preferred.
- Current first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications.
- Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs, preferred.
- Prior pickleball, tennis and padel experience, preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
- $25/hr
