About the Job: Construction Laborer
We're seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you'll be involved in various concrete and asphalt installation and repair projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing sites, performing physical labor, and operating hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and leveling surfaces
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Operate hand and power tools, such as jackhammers and saws
- Mix, pour, and place concrete and asphalt
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 18 years old
- Ability to perform physical requirements, lift 50 lbs., and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to read a tape measure, use general hand tools, wear PPE, and follow safety guidelines
- Dependability, hard-working spirit, and ability to follow instructions
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to acquire a DOT medical card
