Job Summary: This position drives strategic growth in Hardware and industrial channels through marketing programs, promotional development, and execution.
This Channel role devises, launches, creates, and maintains Makita marketing programs and promotions for Dealers, Wholesalers, and customers to grow Makita's product sales within the US.
Responsibilities include creating marketing resources, managing tactical execution elements associated with channel management, and communicating with customers and sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute channel field distribution, influence sales programs, and maintain customer focus while integrating with Brand and Product plans.
- Own new program development, including coordination with sales, finance, legal, product, and brand teams.
- Direct customer interface supporting field sales teams while establishing strong connections to business strategy and brand positioning.
- Implement customer and internal sales team initiatives to drive growth in new and existing channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications or related subjects.
- 5 years of channel marketing or similar industry experience.
- Knowledge of the Industrial / commercial hardware industry is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- May be subjected to working extended and/or irregular hours.
- Up to 20% travel which includes weekends.
- This position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Lifting, pushing, or pulling boxes up to 75 lbs. may occasionally be required.
