Position Overview:

MCS is seeking a Director of Production to lead our manufacturing operations. This individual will oversee the entire production floor, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity across all departments, including welding, machining, fabrication, logistics, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience as a Production Manager or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and high-quality output.

• Lead and direct welding, machining, fabrication, logistics and quality control to streamline workflows and improve processes.

• Lead and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

• Develop and implement production strategies to meet business goals, customer demands, and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop operational plans and drive company growth.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production efficiency, costs, and quality metrics.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production capabilities and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in a Production Manager or Supervisor role within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong background in fabrication, welding, and machining is highly preferred.

• Experience managing purchasing, estimating, and quality functions.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization is a plus.
