Title : Technology Consultant : Networks & Video Conferencing
Reports to : Network Services Coordinator

Fair Labor Standards Act Status : Exempt : Professional
Salary : $52,000 – $62,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Work Schedule : 8 : 00 – 5 : 00 Monday – Friday. Option for limited remote work upon successful completion of six-month training period.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Provides automation and technology services, support and training to SCKLS member libraries and staff.
EXAMPLES OF WORK :
- Provides automation and technology on-site, phone, email and remote support services to member libraries, including advising and assisting in the selection of hardware and software; maintenance and repair; evaluation and improvement of library technology; assists with member library tech installs; and consulting.
- Installs, troubleshoots and resolves issues related to SCKLS supported computers, printers, firewalls, switches, WiFi solutions and network wiring.
- Primary contact for Princh wireless printing solutions. Includes purchase assistance, scheduling initial install and ongoing updates and support.
- Configures, installs, troubleshoots and maintains MeLE Controllers, DATA443 (SmartShield) Deep Freeze and Princh management computers.
- Manages SCKLS ADA workstation program, researches and recommends available solutions, provides implementation, training and ongoing support. Collaborates with SCKLS Director in securing grant funding for the program.
- Develops and provides technology training to SCKLS staff on TeamViewer Remote Support services and to member libraries in group and individual settings in areas such as technology maintenance, library automation and personal productivity applications.
- Maintains, sets up and supports OWL Labs video conferencing cameras, including working with SCKLS Director during Executive Committee Meetings.
- Maintains SCKLS presenter computers (Front desk, Large, East & West Meeting Rooms).
- Assists Network Services Coordinator with DNSFilter installs, trainings, troubleshooting and updates.
- Assists Network Services Coordinator with providing AWE Learning : Early Literacy Digital Learning platform guidance to member libraries.
- Develops, maintains and processes SCKLS member library technology documentation and reports using Salesforce.
- May represent SCKLS at technology-related meetings.
- Other work-related duties assigned by the Director.
