We are looking for someone to bring their gifts to the program, shaping the position in part by their own individual strengths. This may include ??lelo, hula, traditional handcrafts, music, and more. - Teach Hawaiian Studies to students in grades K?8
- Create age-appropriate lessons that may include ??lelo Hawai?i, hula, mele, handcrafts, mo?olelo, and cultural practices
- Incorporate Hawaiian values, history, and traditions into the curriculum
- Foster a sense of aloha ??ina and cultural stewardship in students
- Collaborate with faculty to support school festivals and seasonal celebrations
- Help cultivate a respectful understanding of Hawaiian culture and history within the school community
