Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Assistant to support the Sales Manager and the sales team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This part-time role combines administrative tasks, customer correspondence, and sales support, making it ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a background in sales. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for answering phones, responding to emails, managing customer inquiries, and assisting with the sales process to help drive business growth. There is potential to transition to a full-time position in the future based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide exceptional service via phone, email, and chat to ensure satisfaction.
- Sales Assistance: Help the Sales Manager with various sales-related tasks, including processing orders, tracking sales activities, and maintaining customer records.
- Communication: Manage inbound and outbound calls, direct customer inquiries to the appropriate channels, and maintain prompt and professional email and chat correspondence.
- Order Processing: Assist with processing sales orders and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment and resolution of any issues.
- Administrative Support: Help manage the Sales Manager’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate sales-related events and activities.
- CRM Updates: Regularly update customer information and sales progress within the CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the sales team to ensure goals are met while maintaining a positive and professional customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
