Job Summary:

The Utility Specialist is responsible for cleaning tanks, totes, barrels and other equipment, as well as pumping out tanks in a wet environment. They must ensure a clean and safe work environment while supporting overall production efficiency.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of tanks, blenders, totes, barrels, buckets, pumps, and misc. tools.
• Transfer bulk product to storage containers from tanks.
• Maintain a cleaning log for all totes after cleaning process.
• Collect and dispose of all debris from the production floor on a daily basis.
• Assist Chemical Compounders with stocking chemicals when needed/requested.
• Assist Chemical Compounders with cleaning up spills when needed/requested.
• Keep the floor in the cleaning area, dry and organized.
• Assist with removing all trash from powder room and packet filling room.

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred to have at least one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk, stand, lift, push and pull various items.

Work Environment:

• Work is primarily performed inside the warehouse.
• Working in a wet environment due to the nature of the job.
• Exposure to loud noise levels, vibration, chemicals, dust, mechanical hazards, and moving objects or other vehicles.
• May be exposed to cold and hot temperatures, inclement weather conditions.

Salary: $16.00 - $16.75 per hour
