Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low voltage gate systems, cctv & gate access, including its devices and field service maintenance. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Duties

  • Install and configure low voltage systems including security, audio/visual, and data communication systems.
  • Following instructions, utilizing tech supports, and working on your own to ensure accurate installation/repairs
  • Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for system diagnostics.
  • Perform regular maintenance on existing systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory logs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts and protocols is essential.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment for installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $23.21 - $28.07 per hour
