The Traveling Assistant Manager will play a vital role in supporting store operations, leading teams, and ensuring that the Malley’s standard of excellence is upheld across all stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site management support and leadership to store teams as needed.
- Assist Store Managers with daily operations, including sales, inventory management, and staffing.
- Step into management roles temporarily during manager vacations, leaves, or staffing transitions.
- Foster a positive, customer-focused atmosphere by providing exceptional service and maintaining brand standards.
- Train, coach, and mentor store team members to develop their skills and meet performance goals.
- Collaborate with the Retail Director and other managers to implement company policies and initiatives.
- Monitor store performance metrics and assist in achieving sales targets and operational excellence.
- Travel to all 18 Malley’s locations to support operational needs and special projects.
- 2 years of experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in a multi-unit or high-volume environment - not required.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to various store environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering the Malley’s experience.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Northeast Ohio; reliable transportation is required.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
