Responsibilities
- Daily filing, sorting and distributing mail, receiving and directing visitors, and other tasks to support accounting department
- Maintain vendor master records and transactions in enterprise system
- Process, match, and post freight invoices
- Reconcile statements
- Answer vendor inquiries and serve as liaison between operations and vendors’ accounts receivable staff
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Outlook and Excel
- Strong reading and math skills with ability to spot issues, research, and solve problems
- Associate’s degree or accounting coursework a plus
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and postage machines.
Physical Demands: This is a partially sedentary role with substantial filing duties, which require the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Schedule: Mon–Fri. 8am–5pm. Onsite.
