What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Superintendent position at Maloney Properties, Inc. Career Center?
We are seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the maintenance activities of our residential property in Barre, VT. You will be hands-on supervising a team of maintenance professionals alongside the Senior Property Manager. The duties you will be responsible for will include:
· Overseeing and participating in completing daily work orders, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
· Coordinating on-call responsibilities.
· Providing training and technical support to our technicians.
· Keeping the Senior Property Manager up-to-date on the property and any work that needs to be done. Developing long and short-term maintenance planning.
· Preparing buildings for inspections with our technicians.
· Coordinating with contractors.
· Updating records and reports related to maintenance.
The work hours are Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30 with on-call duties shared on rotation. Some flexibility in the work hours will be required.
