Job Summary
Malouf is seeking a Graphic Designer to add to our in-house marketing team. You will work in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Our ideal candidate is a versatile designer that has strong typography and layout skills with experience in both print and digital marketing. You take pride in your work but are open-minded, comfortable discussing your work in group settings, and willing to dive into a variety of projects. You seek to be better every day and are always willing to share your perspective with the team. You can see how all projects—big and small—contribute to the big picture.
What You’ll Do
- Support design needs for internal brands / departments as well as external clients through an in-house agency model.
- Design assets for both print and digital media in collaboration with the marketing team, such as :
- Product packaging (both retail-ready and brown-box), including occasionally communicating directly with local printers to execute select projects.
- Digital marketing campaigns for email, social, and web.
- Brand development.
- Tradeshow displays for both permanent and temporary show spaces.
- Product listings in-line with platform best practices and quality visual presentation.
- Product catalogs and in-store displays.
- Brainstorm campaign ideas and provide occasional art direction with photo and marketing teams.
- Maintain brand consistency while striving to keep brands responsive and dynamic amidst evolving business environments.
- Seek ways to strengthen your design skills and understanding of industry trends and share that perspective with the team.
- Maintain organized file structure with a high attention to detail.
- Potential limited travel to permanent showrooms or photoshoot locations.
