What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch / Customer Service Rep position at Mammoth Distribution?
We're looking for a Dispatch/Customer Service Rep to join our team. Are you a customer service rockstar? Highly organized and a whiz at problem solving? Then we want to talk to you!
**This position is onsite only - there is no flexibility to work remote.**
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact to customers requiring assistance with questions or issues with scheduling and deliveries
- Monitor delivery statuses and communicate updates to customers as needed
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Perform data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Work cooperatively with the Metrc, Distribution, Accounting, Sales Ops, and Sales team to meet quotas and goals
- Support planning and coordination of deliveries with Dispatch team supervisor
- Route Planning: Develop and optimize routing plans for drivers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Scheduling: Coordinate schedules for drivers and deliveries, balancing workload and maximizing efficiency
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor the progress of deliveries, track delivery status, and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays in the logistics process promptly, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to logistics activities, customer interactions, and deliveries
- Software: Working in the ERP system (Acumatica) to assign delivery and procurement routes

Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in customer service or dispatch roles
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Google Suites, ERP systems, or TMS
- Minimum 1-2 years as a delivery driver or dispatcher preferred
- High school diploma or
- Cannabis knowledge an, additional education or training in customer service preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Clear speech and hearing to communicate
- Clear vision
- Able to drive up to 8 hours a day
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Clear DMV record
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Able to sit and work at a computer work for eight (8) plus hours a day
- Able to meet physical requirements inherent to the essential functions of the position
