Position Summary: Project Manager
Aquawolf, LLC is looking for a motivated individual willing to perform a range of technical project management duties to drive successful project execution including project setup, budget and schedule controls, resourcing coordination and financial reporting across a range of Aquawolf programs. This role will report to the Civil/Structural Engineering Manager in the San Diego, CA office.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for multiple Aquawolf Civil/Structural Engineering programs
- Coordinate with internal project teams, subcontractors, and external clients throughout the program life cycles.
- Create and track project schedules, budgets and scope. Provide regular reporting to project leads and Aquawolf leadership and clients.
- Actively support resource allocation by closely coordinating with various project teams to balance workload and allocations.
- Coordinate with project coordination and project control staff to complete document control procedures for internal client and external client operations including the uploading/downloading of Submittals, RFI’s, and Review Comments.
- Coordinate with and train Assistant Project Managers.
- Create and maintain workflow diagrams and project lifecycle documentation.
- Organize, schedule, and lead meetings, document meeting minutes, and prepare agendas.
- Work closely with Engineering Managers.
- Provide as-needed field support during design and construction.

- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions at both strategic and functional levels.

- Strong understanding of business accounting practices and recordkeeping.
Required Job Qualifications
Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent field Required
- PMP certification preferred
- Professional engineering license preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years of technical civil, structural or utility construction project management experience.
Other:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform all of the essential functions of this position.
Desired Job Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sharepoint or Procore.
- Proficient in common scheduling platforms (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Proficiency with Smartsheet preferred.
- Experience in other industries related to Civil/Structural Engineering
