What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Coordinator position at Mammoth Hospital?
Under the direction of the Compliance Officer, the Compliance Coordinator coordinates compliance, accreditation, and licensing activities for the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Assists in monitoring and assisting with progress relating to the Annual Compliance Risk Assessment and Work Plan
- Assists in developing, maintaining, and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct which includes vulnerability to fraud, abuse and waste.
- Assists with oversight and management of the Verge incident reporting system workflow, ensuring tasks are completed by relevant stakeholders.
- Assists in coordinating and conducting mock audits, internal audits, developing audit reports, and coordinating the development of corrective action plans.
- Coordinates the daily activities and priorities of the Compliance program, including coordinating and preparing for multiple committee meetings. Assists in managing multiple deadlines.
- Independently manages several regulatory calendars, including sending reminders and tracking completion to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Under the direction of the Compliance Officer, interacts with regulatory agencies as needed.
- Stays informed of all state/federal regulations and any changes that are instituted in the calendar year.

What You'll Need:
- High School diploma required. Bachelors degree in Business, Compliance or related field required, or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Two years experience in Administration, preferably in a hospital setting preferred.
Job Information:
- Full-time, day shifts.
- Starting wage $36.43 to $44.16 based on qualifications above requirements.
