Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations on-site. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute digging operations and other tasks as required by project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist in the training of new operators as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and Excavators.
- Valid commercial driver's license.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with equipment operation, including lifting and digging.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
