Boone & Bounty Specialist

Boone & Bounty is looking for a Morning B&B Specialist is responsible for having a strong passion for coffee and specialty drinks, operating the cash register, wholesome food and great customer service. The Specialist must be able to follow instructions, multi-task, and work in a team environment.  

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and specialty drink beverages 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the space, including equipment 

• Engage with customers, place food orders and serve as needed 

• Monitor and restock inventory and answer main phone 

• Ensure great presentation and quality of food and beverages 

• Wash and appropriately store beverage making dishes and equipment 

• Support the Boone & Bounty culinary team as needed 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Experience with coffee drinks is preferred but not required 

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task 

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to assistant other Specialists as needed 

• Passion for coffee and dedication to delivering the finest coffee products to customers 

• Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed 

• Able to stand and move around for extended periods of time 

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certifications or education in coffee roasting preferred

It’s a gathering space full of friendly faces, one-of-a-kind styles, and wholesome food.  Boone & Bounty’s home at 401 South Palmberg St. is one of Meriden’s oldest buildings. Its history includes serving as a church and a funeral parlor. Jefferson County was organized in 1856 by Daniel Boone’s son, Daniel Morgan Boone, and 10 other founders.
