HSEQ - Manager, HSEQ
Summary: is responsible for development and management of HSEQ systems and IMS to support the growth and vision of the organization. This role interfaces directly with all levels of the organization to identify best practices and transition these best practices into operational HSEQ programs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
KJR#1 Ensure that MAN-ES-US remains compliant with all MAN and MAN-ES polices & procedures associated with HSEQ, and adopts, as appropriate, MAN and MAN-ES best practices
Manages the ISO/IMS program through site certification and ongoing sustainment and continual improvement.
Manages the internal audit program and liase with registrar (LRQA) to manage the external audit program.
Coordinates, as appropriate with colleagues in the global organization to align MAN-ES-US strategy with the global organization strategy.
KJR #2 Ensure that MAN-ES-US remains compliant with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements associated with HSE
Develop and manage HSEQ training for all employees.
Coordinates/performs risk assessments, health surveillance monitoring, environmental compliance.
Gives guidance to local teams regarding HSEQ best practices and aid program development.
KJR #3 Ensure that MAN-ES-US maintains all existing ISO/OHSAS certifications by conducting all annual internal audits and managing all external audits and subsequent required action items
KJR #4 Establish, maintain, and periodically report MAN-ES-US KPIs associated with HSEQ
Supports local teams through audit, training, and investigating nonconformities.
Project Management of ISO/HSEQ initiatives.
KJR #5 Ensure every OSHA recordable event is thoroughly investigated and documented with identified corrective actions to prevent recurrence
KJR #6 Manage all COLLECT reports submitted and ensure effective actions are implemented for each
Continual development of COLLECT reporting and functionalities to drive maturity and effectiveness.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in HSEQ, Engineering or related field.
Required Experience:
10 Years experience in gas & oil or maritime safety and health management roles.
ISO Lead Auditor/Management Representative.
CSP/ASP/NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
OSHA Training.
Effective communication skills with all levels and multi-national.
Analytics skill set to determine root causes.
Lean/Six Sigma background a plus.
