Position Purpose : Responsible for guaranteeing MHS has an effective transportation strategy and for overseeing the Contractor’s NEMT broker. The NEMT Manager shall proactively work to resolve potential transportation disruptions, implement creative solutions to ensure member transport, promote communication between the State and the Contractor on NEMT issues, conduct audits and reviews of the Contractor’s NEMT broker, and respond to complaints and concerns from medical providers, facilities, drivers, and members alike. Building and maintaining an adequate transportation network to serve all member needs is paramount. This position will have significant interaction with other health care providers such as nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, dialysis centers, hospitals and emergency medical services and will be required to work with providers to resolve issues ensuring member access to care and services.

  • Building and maintaining an adequate transportation network to serve all member needs is paramount
  • This position will have significant interaction with other health care providers such as nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, dialysis centers, hospitals and emergency medical services and will be required to work with providers to resolve issues ensuring member access to care and services.
  • Education / Experience : Bachelor’s degree required in Business Management, Health Administration or related field. 5 years relevant management experience required; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Practical knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and health plan administration desired.Pay Range : $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
