What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Specialist position at Managed Service Provider?
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team! We provide outsourced IT services to small and medium size businesses (onsite and remote). As an employee you will be the face of our company to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with many different types of businesses and will be an integral part of our team and the clients we serve.
Technical Skills:
Solid experience in troubleshooting, setup windows computers and its peripherals.
Troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
Install and configure software applications.
Adds/moves/changes to user accounts in Active Directory.
Basic printer and Wi-Fi configuration and support.
Good Knowledge of cloud applications, O365 and backup systems.
Good understanding of Firewalls and VOIP.
Provide technical support by identifying issues, researching solutions and resolving matters involving computer systems, software & hardware.
Position Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience providing end user support
- Provide excellent customer service both onsite and remote
- Relevant certifications is a plus
- Excellent customer service and neat appearance are essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and with others
- Analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
- Candidate must own a reliable car and use it for transportation to client sites
- Must be Orange County resident. Job requires on site visits around Orange County and LA County areas.
Salary : $24 - $28
