Job Description

We are seeking an Office Services Associate in Austin, TX to assist with general office support tasks, including printing, copying, scanning, and maintaining kitchen and coffee bar areas. The ideal candidate has a strong background in customer service or hospitality, along with experience in roles such as receptionist, administrative assistant, or hospitality. This role requires stability in job history and thorough documentation for any employment gaps or short-term assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Services: Operate and maintain printing, copying, and scanning equipment to support office needs. Manage copy and print requests, ensure all documents are completed accurately, and troubleshoot equipment issues as necessary.
  • Mailroom Duties: Sort, distribute, and send mail and packages. Coordinate with mail carriers and manage outgoing shipments.
  • Kitchen & Coffee Bar Maintenance: Ensure kitchen and coffee bar areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized. Order supplies and maintain a welcoming and functional environment for employees.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for employees and guests, providing exceptional service in response to office requests or inquiries.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various office tasks as needed, supporting general administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field, with preferred backgrounds in office services, hospitality, or administrative roles.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in operating office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and printers.
  • Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and quality in handling copy, print, and mail duties.
  • Reliability: Consistent job history without frequent job changes. Any employment gaps or reasons for short-term assignments should be documented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospitality or Reception Experience: Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or hospitality role.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and proactively address office needs.
  • Professional Demeanor: Polished communication skills and the ability to engage with employees and guests professionally.
