We are a fast growing construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and are seeking an experienced Construction Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrative Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry and 5 years of advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will possess a go-getter attitude and a strong willingness to learn, ensuring smooth operations within our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of project documents, including proposals, contracts, and change orders.
  • Maintain and organize project files, ensuring all documents are current and accessible.
  • Coordinate communication between project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, managing calendars for project teams.
  • Track project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to management.
  • Process invoices and assist with accounts payable and receivable when needed.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis, report generation, and budget tracking.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and phone management.
  • Assist with compliance documentation and safety records.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the office and identify areas for improvement.
  • Managing and Creating Submittals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction administrative role.
  • At least 5 years of advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
