As a Project Developer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing utility-scale solar projects from inception to completion. This role requires expertise in the full solar development cycle, from site identification to community engagement, permitting, and lease negotiations. You will work closely with landowners, local stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure projects meet quality and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the development team and consultants to identify prime sites for solar development in target areas.
  • Engage with landowners to explain project benefits, set clear expectations, and secure land agreements.
  • Facilitate lease negotiations with landowners, supported by internal legal counsel, to acquire necessary land rights.
  • Partner with the Development Team, including Project Managers and Permitting Managers, to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local jurisdictions, and community stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support permitting activities by engaging with neighbors, local jurisdictions, and community members.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 3 years of experience in utility-scale solar project development or successful development of 10 commercial solar projects.
  • Degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Salary Range : $80 - $125k Bonus
