Come join an established family-owned bottle manufacturer in Simi Valley, California as a Maintenance Technician ! Headquartered in California and in business for over 55 years our client is a one-stop shop for their clients packaging needs.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Receives machine priorities from the Maintenance Manager.
- Install and wire industrial equipment as directed by Maintenance Manager
- Routinely performs machinery checks ensuring all safety devices are installed and functioning properly.
- Conduct periodic checks of all electrical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment.
- Identifying and reporting potential equipment or building issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions.
- Work independently from verbal and / or written instructions from the Maintenance Manager.
- Communicate with off-going / on-coming technicians.
- The ability to monitor the process and show an awareness of issues and demonstrate corrective actions to address those issues.
- Assists with training of junior technical staff.
