Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles.
- Perform beard trims and shaves with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
- Mentor junior barbers or apprentices by sharing knowledge and techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, hair styling, and grooming techniques.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling and barbering is essential.
- Proficiency in makeup application is a plus but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with product sales is beneficial.
- Understanding of color theory for potential coloring services is an advantage.
- Experience in nail care is a nice-to-have skill but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
