Music Teacher

Manchester Elementary Middle School is seeking a Music Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year and join our team of collaborative and enthusiastic staff, dedicated to helping students achieve their fullest potential. In this position, the Music Teacher will deliver a comprehensive music education program to students in Grades PK-8 as part of the Unified Arts Rotation. The ideal candidate will be a strong, collaborative team member who is committed to continuing to work on their teaching practice through professional development both individually and as a team. The arts are a deeply valued component of our schools and community. The Music Teacher develops in each student a lifelong interest in and appreciation of music as a fundamental expression of human emotion. In this position, the Music Teacher enables students to experience the beauty, emotional intensity, and thoughtfulness of music and musical expression. Utilizing a variety of musical experiences that include making, studying, interpreting, evaluating, and performing music, the Music Teacher provides a safe and inclusive learning environment where artistic risk-taking, discovery, and experimentation are welcome. Applicants are expected to have knowledge in current instructional research and evidence-based instructional practices. Strong candidates will demonstrate a student-centered approach, exemplary oral and written communication skills, and strong relationship building skills with students.
