What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Administrative Assistant position at Manchester Medical Center?
Manchester Medical Center is a provider-owned Primary Care and Urgent Care facility that is dedicated to providing high quality medical care to our ever-growing community. We are looking for a reliable, energetic hardworking receptionist to join our team! Prior healthcare office experience preferred but not necessary, we will train!
Requirements/Responsibilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Greeting patients in person or on the phone in a pleasant, welcoming manner.
- Registration, scheduling, health insurance input, data entry, uploading documents, processing copays & patient payments
- Use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system AthenaHealth
- Communication with medical staff on status and conditions of patients in the waiting room
- Flexibility and adaptability in a busy work environment
- Assistance with general office maintenance duties shared by the team such as cleaning, organizing & restocking
Full time position available, flexibility for weekend rotation and coverage a must, a set schedule is an option! 4 work days (weekdays 8:45am-6pm, weekends 9:45-5pm). Full time employees receive:

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
