- Patrol assigned areas, including residential, commercial, and industrial areas, on foot, by car, to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens.
- Respond to emergency calls, investigate crimes, and take appropriate action to prevent further harm or loss.
- Conduct traffic stops and issue citations or warnings as necessary.
- Interact with citizens, including providing information, resolving disputes, and responding to concerns.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, arrests, and other law enforcement activities.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and emergency services to share information and coordinate responses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members, businesses, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Use sound judgment and good decision-making skills in emergency situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Experience in criminal investigation and the ability to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
- Proficiency in animal handling and care, including the ability to handle aggressive animals.
- Possess a certificate or equivalent experience in first aid.
- Familiarity with immigration law and the ability to handle related cases.
- Strong report writing skills, including the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
- Experience with militarized operations and the ability to operate in high-stress environments.
- Excellent conflict management skills, including the ability to de-escalate situations and negotiate resolutions.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $62,535.00 - $66,670.00 per year
