We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to making job offers and onboarding new hires. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for talent acquisition, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to identify potential candidates for open positions.
- Screening & Interviewing: Evaluate candidate resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Use behavioral and competency-based interviewing techniques.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Candidate Management: Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and feedback, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers and coordinate pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
- Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate reports on recruitment metrics as needed.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company as an employer of choice by enhancing visibility through social media,
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in recruitment; suggest improvements to enhance the hiring process.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minumum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in law/legal firms.
- Strong understanding of recruitment practices, interviewing techniques, and labor laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse candidates.
- Proficient in using social media, job boards, and recruiting software (Knowledge of Workable is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
