We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our team. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse data visualization and reporting projects, enabling informed decision-making through insightful dashboards and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
- Integrate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Develop and implement DAX queries and measures for advanced data calculations.
- Ensure the security and integrity of reports by implementing appropriate permissions and governance.
- Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance of Power BI solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to drive innovation in reporting and analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Ability to connect Power BI with various data sources, including APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory.
