Responsibilities
Manhattan Marketing
Interns are an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the overall
success of Manhattan's marketing initiatives and ensuring a consistent and
positive brand image in the market. This is a paid internship position.
As a part of
Manhattan's marketing department, the marketing interns support the marketing
team in designing, developing, and producing compelling proposals,
presentations, and other marketing materials. Responsibilities include
assisting the marketing team with:
- Graphic design components.
- Social media production and calendar management
- Maintaining systems for extracting, categorizing, and retrieving information related to clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, and visuals.
- Creation of proposals and presentations.
- Gathering content from team members and project partners.
- Drafting and proofreading internal and external communications.
- Preparing and coordinating awards competition entries.
- Organizing special events organized by the firm/company.
- Coordinating project and promotional photography.
Capabilities
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft
Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Understanding of basic business development principles.
- Knowledge of database concepts.
- Organizational skills, multi-tasking.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work well with various types of personalities and work styles.
- Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency.
- Passion for participating in professional development and community-focused organizations.
Education/Certification Requirements
- Seeking an Associate or bachelor's degree recommended.
- Recommended: Attend SMPS and other relevant industry workshops.
