The Make Ready Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by ensuring all machinery is functioning optimally. *Responsibilities* - Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and machinery to identify any issues or maintenance needs. - Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, utilizing knowledge of logic controllers and schematics. - Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and ensuring proper functionality. - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions. - Supervise junior technicians or apprentices, providing guidance and leadership as needed. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on equipment. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns related to equipment performance or maintenance. *Qualifications* - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of machinery. - Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and understanding logic controllers. - Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor others effectively. - Strong customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients and team members. - Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving.
