Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Provide oversight and guidance to recorders to ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of peer review consensus comments.
- Ensure all recorders are trained in the peer review process and fully understand their role and responsibilities.
- Monitor attendance and performance to confirm that each panel has an assigned recorder present throughout the full duration of the meeting.
- Conduct quality control checks on submitted consensus reports to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with OVW standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving questions or issues related to recording protocols or documentation requirements.
- Serve as an official recorder for peer review panels, responsible for capturing accurate and thorough consensus comments.
- Prepare written reports that clearly reflect reviewer feedback, which may be shared with applicants upon request.
- Possess a solid understanding of the peer review process and panel protocols to ensure accurate documentation.
- Be present for the full duration of assigned panel meetings to record discussions in real time.
- Ensure no peer review panel convenes without an assigned recorder in attendance.
- Incorporate other tasks specific to the support of the peer reviews as requested by the COR.
- A minimum of a two-year college degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Experience with event coordination and planning preferred.
- Experience working with federal government programs, ideally with federal contracts and in a consulting environment.
- Experience aggregating data and producing reports based on multiple data sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications to include Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience communicating, both orally and in writing, to various audiences.
- Experience organizing and performing multiple tasks at the same time.
- Experience providing administrative support to project and/or contract management team and staff who work remotely.
- Public Trust Clearance is required.
