The Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the Food Service Department, ensuring high-quality meal service, compliance with regulations, and efficient departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to dining services staff.
- Manage the department budget and maintain financial accountability.
- Conduct routine food safety and sanitation self-audits.
- Interview, hire, and train dining services staff
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Oversee meal preparation and service, ensuring plating standards.

- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a healthcare food service setting.

Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- ServSafe Certification required.
- CDM Certification preferred or willingness to enroll in the course.
