Job Description:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Wholesale Account Executive to join our team. This role will focus on expanding our wholesale presence, driving revenue growth with current retail partners, and acquiring new accounts across boutique and big box retailers. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of the children's apparel industry, a strong network within wholesale channels, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management
- Build and maintain relationships with wholesale accounts, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for accounts, handling inquiries, product information, and order management.
2. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new wholesale accounts, with a focus on key retailers and boutiques that align with our brand’s positioning.
- Collaborate with merchandising and product development teams to provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences.
3. Market Expansion
- Conduct market research to identify potential wholesale opportunities and competitor strategies.
- Expand the brand’s presence in both domestic and international markets, leveraging existing contacts and exploring new territories.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Regularly analyze sales performance and provide insights on account and product trends.
- Prepare monthly reports on account status, sales metrics, and forecast future sales trends.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of wholesale sales experience in the children's apparel or fashion industry, preferably with a background in managing major retail accounts as well as small boutiques.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the wholesale landscape, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
