We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the full recruitment lifecycle, contributing to the growth and success of our organization by attracting top talent. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills and has a strong interest in human resources and talent acquisition. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills and has a strong interest in human resources and talent acquisition. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sourcing and Candidate Identification:
- Assist in identifying potential candidates through various online channels, including job boards, social media platforms and professional networks
- Utilize search techniques and sourcing strategies to build candidate pipelines
- Proactively reach out to passive candidates and engage them in potential opportunities
- Screening and Assessment:
- Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, skills and cultural fit
- Schedule interviews for hiring managers and coordinate candidate communication
- Interview Support:
- Assist with the interview process, including preparing interview materials and potentially participating in interviews
- Collect feedback from interviewers and maintain accurate records
- Administrative and Operational Support:
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and progress
- Assist with the creation and posting of job descriptions on various platforms
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for out-of-town candidates, as needed
- Prepare reports and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Employer Branding and Outreach:
- Support employer branding initiatives by participating in career fairs, campus events and online recruitment events
- Assist in creating engaging content for social media and other recruitment channels
- Research and stay up to date on industry best practices and innovative recruitment strategies
- Special Projects:
- Contribute to various HR and Talent Acquisition projects as assigned
- Proficiency in Google Suites is a plus
- Familiarity with application tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
- Experience with social media and online sourcing tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
- Base pay will be $18/hour
- This position is located in West Bend, WI
- No travel required
