What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOREMAN HIGHWAY position at MANITOWOC COUNTY?

Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to: scheduling and assignment of work, coordination of the crew, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
Coordinates the construction and maintenance of highways, bridges, drainage correction and site excavation. Maintains records of material used and progress made. Inspects completed work to assure compliance with specifications of plans.
Assists in the coordination of snow removal operations. Participates in an on-call rotation. Performs snow removal.
Assists in the planning and scheduling of projects for the construction and maintenance of thorough fares.
Inspects quality and quantity of materials, supplies and equipment
Operates heavy equipment and assists crews in performing the work of the project
