What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Justice Case Manager position at MANITOWOC COUNTY?
Working in the Youth Justice Division of the Manitowoc County Human Services Department, this position performs intake services for youth referred to the intensive Case Management program. This position:
- Develops individualized plans for youth referred to the Intensive Case Management
- Provides case management services that focus on accountability, community safety and skill development
- Performs intake services and provides case management for youth referred to the Youth Wellness Center, Restorative Justice Program and Youth Tracking Program.
- Coordinates and supervises restorative justice obligations, including but not limited to community service obligations, restitution, victim/witness conferencing and community engagement activities, which will require the Case Manager to intervene to concerning behaviors and crisis situations as they occur.
- Provides case management for the Youth Tracking Program which includes but is not limited to: overseeing temporary physical custody court orders (which may include GPS monitoring) and providing supportive services to assist a youth and their family in meeting court ordered obligations. Case management services will require the Case Manager to immediately respond to a youth who is in violation of a TPC order.
